It’s been 10 months since Irma and Maria struck, but that won’t stop the Carnival. The July 4th parade was a lot of fun, and it was great to see the community spirit, and spirits, on full display.

Lots of fun surprises as we enjoyed seeing people we know dressed to the nines and performing with their troupes.

We’re right back into hurricane season with a lot of progress in our wake, but we still have a ton of work to accomplish to be ready if something like this hits us again.

We also hit another Tesla milestone, as we now have one month of data under our belt for the top two villas.

1.1MW of energy – 100% home grown.

The Resysta is complete on the Tower villa. We’re ready for some landscaping and railings around this one.

We also found the tile we’ve been waiting for from our supplier, so we’re still on target for July 14th plastering and pool fill.

Here are our our final tile and plaster options.

TotalWall is being applied to pool areas and bar lights have been cut into the rear wall.

We’re pouring 30 cubic yards of concrete tomorrow for the putting green retaining wall, and also for the spa platform and deck.

We’re finishing up poolside villa #2 this week, with poolside villa #1 not far behind!

Cameron and Charlotte come back tomorrow from three weeks in Texas! We can’t wait!
